Decorative concrete techniques were used to transform the floors at this architectural firm in St. Louis. First the existing concrete was prepped and a micro-topping was applied. Next, curved saw cuts were created across the surface of the topping. Then custom blended water-based stains were used to achieve the vivid colors. To add an interesting effect, metal was soldered into the saw cuts and then the entire floor was sealed.
